Today we’re looking at their flagship electric guitar in the iconic “S”-type Cort G Series, the G300 Pro.

A Quick Rundown

The G300 Pro is the new flagship model of the iconic G Series. It is a boutique-style guitar with modern enhancements that represents the best of the best in terms of player-focused appointments. This leads to superb playability, sonic versatility and is wrapped up in a beautifully aesthetic design.

In the 2021 Guitar Awards season, the G300 Pro received a slew of honours including Editor’s Choice award for Guitar of the Year.

The Headline Features

A top-grade American Basswood body with 6mm (1/4”) maple top lays the foundation, and is paired with a roasted maple neck and fretboard with Luminlay side dot inlays, stainless steel frets.

Cort have included premium electronics in the form of two Seymour Duncan humbuckers that are paired with a 5-way pickup selector for outstanding versatility in tone.

And for the first time ever in the G Series, the G300 Pro comes with a full 24 frets, giving it a truly modern edge for the players that require access to the higher fret positions.

American Basswood Body with 6㎜ (1/4”) Maple Top

This popular wood combination for modern type guitars provides a balanced and rich midrange tone from the American Basswood body with bright sparkle from the maple top, which allows the guitar to cut through any mix with a tone that is optimized for lead solo playing.

Custom Wired Electronics

‘Player-focused’ is the name of the game with this simple yet versatile control layout which provides all the sounds s player could. The 5-way switch is custom-wired to provide glassy and sparkling single-coil sounds in the 2nd and 4th positions as well as a full-bodied and powerful humbucker sound in the bridge, middle and neck positions.

Roasted Maple Neck & Fingerboard
