The company was founded in late 1976 and picked up incredible momentum in the decades to follow; with high profile customers like Jimi Hendrix and Jeff Beck getting the then infamous Seymour Duncan to work his magic on their guitars. The pickup booster is an external housing of a midboost preamp which was made for Jackson to be released in the late 90s. Following the success of the Pickup Booster, Lead Designer Kevin Beller began focusing on the company’s pedal line and subsequently they have released many highly acclaimed units. The units focused on incorporating the most sought after features of old school design but with modern twists to make them incredibly versatile.

With an ever growing stable of modern classics such as the Vise Grip compressor, Dirty Deeds distortion and Vapor Trails delay Seymour Duncan have continued to deliver the best of affordable boutique quality pedals. 2016 has been no different, as the company sets to release it’s new Palladium gain stage pedal and it’s Catalina chorus, sure to be welcome additions to any guitar player’s arsenal.
