Almost synonymous with this phenomenon of musical performance was the looping units made by Boss, beginning with the RC-20 released in 2001. Everyone from Ed Sheeran to Jeremy Loops has a Boss pedal under their feet when they get to looping.

Of course, being the innovation focused company they are, Boss set out to over the course of a few decades develop and perfect a range of loopers to suit practically every possible use case. From the untra-simple RC-1, to the powerhouse functionality of the RC-300, and soon to be released RC-600, there is a Boss loop station to suit everyone.

The Boss RC-1

The pedal that starts the journey of most begginner loop artists today is the RC-1. Simple, user-friendly, and packing 12 minutes of loop time, the Boss RC-1 provides everything you need to dive into the world of live looping.

The Boss RC-5

The most powerful looper available in a compact stompbox package, the RC-5 allows you to capture sound with high-end 32-bit quality, navigate parameters and monitor loop status with the backlit LCD, and tap into expanded operation via the control jack and TRS MIDI I/O. And with over 50 rhythms, 13 hours of stereo recording, 99 phrase memories, and more, the compact RC-5 puts looping power at your feet.

The Boss RC-10R

Combining song-based looping and organic rhythms in a compact package, the RC-10R brings fresh inspiration to live performances, songwriting sessions, and daily practice. The RC-10R is a real-time creation machine, enabling you to develop spontaneous moments with two unique song sections, intros/endings, and rhythm fills.

The Boss RC-500

The Boss RC-300

The RC-300 is Boss’ current flagship looper. It features three synchronized stereo tracks with dedicated volume knobs and transport-control footswitches for each track. It’s also equipped with pro effects, a master Expression pedal, and a deluxe, ultra-wide control panel for the ultimate in live-performance manipulation.
