Youth Day holds immense significance in South Africa as we commemorate the brave actions of the youth during the Soweto Uprising in 1976. It serves as a powerful reminder of the power of young voices and their role in shaping our nation’s future.
We are thrilled to highlight the positive impact of the Amy Foundation performing arts programme on the beneficiaries and community of the townships in which they work. Through this initiative, young individuals are given a platform to express themselves creatively, develop their talents, and nurture their passion for the arts.
Come and witness the incredible performances which includes Gumboot dance, Stick & Tins, Marimba and Kwaito. These talented individuals will be showcasing their hard work and dedication. Let’s support and empower our youth as they continue to shine brightly and make a difference in our community. 🌟
