With the release of their flagship Sundance Performance Pro series, Tanglewood have produced a range of acoustic guitars that are a culmination of decades of guitar building expertise and research.
Each model in the range was designed by legendary Swedish master luthier Michael Sanden and features full solid wood combinations, and professional features on some of the most popular and iconic acoustic body shapes in history.
X15
The X15 is the entry-point in the Sundance Performance Pro Series. It features a dreadnought shape body, with a solid spruce top, and solid mahogany back and sides. With a natural satin finish, the X15 is an incredible all-acoustic professional instrument.
X45NSE
The X45 is a professional acoustic/electric guitar with a Super Folk body shape, solid cedar top, and solid mahogany back and sides. With a vintage amber satin finish and high-end Fishman Presys+ electronics, the X45NSE is an exceptional professional acoustic/electric guitar.
X47
The X47 is exceptionally similar to the X45, with the addition of a solid mahogany top, making the guitar an all-mahogany instrument.
The TE-guitars within the range stand above the rest with the addition of Torrefied tops. Making use of a new kiln drying technique called Torrefication, these two instruments boast a sound signature that replicates a well-loved vintage instrument that has been played for decades.
X70TE
This model boasts an Orchestra/Folk body shape, and includes solid mahogany back and sides, Fishman Presys+ electronics, a vintage Burst Gloss finish, and of course a Torrefied Spruce top.
X15SDTE
The X15SDTE boasts a Sloped Shoulder Dreadnought body shape, and a feature-stack identical to the X70TE, including solid mahogany back and sides, a Torrefied Spruce Top, and the Fishman Presys+ Electronics
