Squier’s Paranormal Series Jazz Bass ’54 features a Poplar body; a balanced-sounding material that serves as an excellent tonal foundation for the punchy J-style single-coil pickups. A light material too, this makes the Squier ’54 Jazz Bass a great live workhorse!

Joined with a bolt-on Maple neck, this wood brings in some crisp top-end that offers a fast and snappy response – even when playing finger-style licks. Fitted with ‘Narrow Tall’ frets and featuring a narrow 1.5″ nut width, the playability of this bass is simply sublime with its comfortable “C”-shaped neck profile also sure to appeal to modern players and traditionalists alike.
