Mapex Black Panther Wraith

Mapex Black Panther Wraith

Introducing the Mapex Black Panther “Wraith” snare drum; Periphery’s Matt Halpern’s signature snare drum. This snare has extra air vents which help to project sound and make this an incredibly loud, yet very responsive snare.

The drum has a double adjustable snare so that you can fine tune the snare and get it just right. The head was chosen by Matt and comes with a hand-signed postcard. Tonally this is a great snare for anyone in the metal and Djent scene who wants a loud and snappy drum tone.

“I really wanted the name to be relevant to the drum. The word wraith is most commonly relevant to a ghost, or a ghost like presence. I’ve always been really keen as a drummer to use a lot of sensitivity and dynamics to play a lot of ghost notes. So in that regard, it is a very direct translation to how I play.” – Matt Harpern
