More About Larry George

George was born in Mamre on the West Coast. His first musical inspiration was his father, who played the saxophone. Spurred on by a growing passion for music, George followed in his father’s steps, and at the age of 14 started to play the saxophone himself.

Over the years, he developed his talents and started to build a strong reputation for himself. George has gone on to play with greats like Emo Adams, Bobby Van Jaarsveld, Katlego Maboe, Kurt Darren, and Ernie Smith Kirk Whalum.

To keep building on his momentum, Larry George will be releasing his first single “God Knows” later this year. The track will be available around June 2018. In September 2018 George will be rolling out his new full-length album.

Jazz on Bree is hosted and curated by Esra Overberg in association with Music Exchange.
