Get your groove on at the 2016 Gauteng Big Band Jazz Festival

If you are a jazz lover, the Gauteng Big Band Jazz Festival is sure to set your feet tapping as the next generation of big band jazz musicians take to the stage. The Gauteng Big Band Jazz Festival, first made its name on the jazz scene in 2012. The Festival was formed following the success of the Cape Town Big Band Jazz Festival. The Gauteng event showcases school and community bands.

The event is kindly sponsored by the SAMRO Foundation and Paul Bothner Music, who are both passionate about local youth music development and education, which they support through various projects.

Mission:
To provide a platform where school Jazz Bands in Gauteng can perform.
To bring Jazz to the Youth where it belongs.
