On Tuesday the 23rd of June, David West Presented the drum expo “Evolution” at the Beau Soleil Music centre in Kennilworth
The night was cold, wet and raining, yet despite this there was a capacity crowd. The show started with a smoky Dixie slow New Orleans style track, complete with an Upright Bass. The show took the audience of a journey of evolution, from Led Zeppelin and Metallica to end off with Bruno Mars. The audience was captivated throughout the show.
David was the MC for the night, and also performed a few tracks. All other performances were done by Beau Soleil students, both past and present.
At the end of the night there were some prizes up for grabs, with Yamaha giving away a drum kit, and Paul Bothner Music and Zildjian giving away a full pack of Zildjian cymbals and 6 pairs of sticks.
