More About COPA
COPA was founded in 2003 with campuses located in Cape Town, Pretoria, Johannesburg, and Durban. All of the courses offered are taught by specialists in the music industry, including professional sound engineers, performers, and more.
The music college offers students full-time courses in Music Performance which focus on bass, guitar, drums, vocals, and keyboard; Music Production which focus on sound engineering, DJ, sound technology, and game audio design; Performing Arts, as well as Music Business.
The academy also helps students be prepared for their career in music by offering modules such as Stage Presence and Music Business to help them make a success of their music career path.
Each of COPA’s campuses includes facilities with a performance venue, a technology centre, a recording studio, and practice facilities for students who want to practice on campus.
COPA also allows previously disadvantaged individuals to be trained at the music college. The university offers bursaries, leadership, and internships.
