The annual Barleycorn Songwriters’ Competition is once again taking place.
The 2015 entries close on Monday 4 August. Fantastic prizes will be up for grabs as always, including cash and Paul Bothner Music store vouchers. Previous years have seen sponsors give recording time and a songwriters’ course, and no doubt this year will be equally spectacular!
Entries can be handed in at the door at any Barleycorn Monday Night eveny, or given to any of the committee. The finals will be held on Monday 17 August, starting at 8pm, at the club.
A complete entry consists of one never previously publicly performed, entirely original song, on CD in Audio CD format, labelled with the song title and author’s name, an entry form (available from the Barleycorn website {here} with the author’s contact details and entry fee.
