    When PRS originally unveiled their Vela, heads turned. Its vintage-inspired offset design was a drastic departure for the company. Now they’ve upped the ante with the S2 Vela Semi-Hollow. This guitar’s resonant semi-hollowbody tone is gorgeous enough on its own, but when you plug it in, it gets even better, thanks to a coil-tapped Vela bridge humbucker and a Type-D single-coil neck pickup. What’s more, a plate-style bridge with compensated brass saddles serves up maximum sustain and twang. Simply put, the PRS S2 Vela Semi-Hollow can rock, growl, and jangle with the best of them.

    Asymmetrical body design

    PRS looks to move their legacy ahead with a new take on their classic body design. Enter the S2 Vela Semi-Hollow and its offset, contoured mahogany body.
