The spruce combines with solid natural mahogany back and sides for a beautiful blend of full tone that spans the high, mid, and low ranges. A mahogany neck with pau ferro fingerboard offers classic Fender playability and response, ideal for smooth lead runs and chording up and down the neck. Finally, when you are ready to plug in, a Fender- and Fishman-designed pickup/preamp system kicks out sweet amplified acoustic tone.

The Fender neck has become legendary among guitarists of nearly all genres. The Redondo Classic carries the torch for legendary feel with an incredibly comfortable slim-taper “C”-shaped profile. This cut is ultra-friendly on the fret hand, letting you slide up and down the neck for leads as well as chords in all positions. This incredible neck is complemented visually with the classic matching, painted 6-in-line headstock.
Stellar amplified tone
The Fender- and Fishman-designed pickup/preamp system in the Redondo Classic comes complete with an easy-to-read, digital tuner that makes onstage tuning super easy. This system also includes frequency (bass, middle, and treble) and phase controls that have been voiced specifically for the Classic.

The Redondo Classic has been decked out with fine appointments that add to its tone and visual appeal. To begin, a koa binding and koa rosette add a beautiful complement to the woods and body color on this awesome instrument.
