The PDP Concept Maple kit 7-ply tom and kick shells and the 10-ply snare shell are leaps and bounds beyond what you’d normally expect from such an affordable drum kit. The extra density these layered shells give you makes them extremely robust and responsive. Add to that a DW style STM (Suspension Tom Mount) system, and you know your Concept Maple drum kit will deliver tone any serious drummer will love.

F.A.S.T. sized kit provides you with an even spread of tones and a wide tonal range

When it comes to tonal diversity, you just can’t knock the PDP Concept Maple’s F.A.S.T. sized toms. These slightly shallower toms give you powerful attack and rapid decay, accentuating they individual tones. If you prefer the more melodic sound of modern tom tunings, then you’ll love the Concept Maple’s tom sound.
