If you love music and animals, then the Warriors Under the Christmas Tree concert is the ideal event for you. That’s right! After the resounding success of last year’s event, Weekend Warriors in conjunction with Paddy’s on the Mead have teamed up again for another spectacular Christmas charity event.
Last year the proceeds from the event went to the Durbanville Children’s Home. This year proceeds with go to the fur babies in need at the SPCA.
Please note that no tickets will be sold for this event. Instead of an entrance fee, you’re asked to please bring a tin or bag of dog or cat food. All the food will be donated to the SPCA. The food for entry system is obligatory and even applies to band members playing on the evening.
When: Thursday, 20 December 2018
Time: Don Roos will start playing at 18:30
Where: Edgemead Cricket Club (AKA Paddy’s on the Mead)
Cost: A tin or bog of dog or cat food

(Please note that while the Facebook event says the evening starts at 19:00, Don Roos has confirmed that he will begin playing at 18:30, so be sure to arrive early if you want to see him perform.)
