The Grand Hybrid Launch

ai-cassio

Casio will be presenting The Grand Hybrid launch; an event presented by Casio and hosted at Paul Bothner Music in Plumstead. The event is especially relevant to pianists and keyboard players wanting the experience of a Grand Piano, but are looking for the convenience of a digital piano.

The Casio company is a leading manufacturer of electronic gear and musical instruments. They are constantly striving to produce quality gear at an affordable price.

In keeping with the commitment to produce great gear at an affordable price, Casio is launching the Grand Hybrid range of pianos. The range offers musicians the simplicity of a digital grand piano while offering the tone, keys and playing comfort of an acoustic grand piano. It is, therefore, the best of both worlds.

The evening will start off with you watching a short video on each of the instruments. After the video, pianist Matthew Pratt will present a live demonstration of the instruments; after which you will be given the opportunity to test each of the instruments yourself.

The units that are launching on the evening are:

MZ-300 music arranger keyboard
PX-560M Privia Pro
PX-5S Privia Pro
And most notably GP-400 Grand Hybrid Piano

We are excited to introduce our Grand Hybrid digital pianos as we feel the advanced technological features and unmatched sound quality will allow musicians to enjoy performing and practising the piano with a new level of authenticity. These two new models bring together all of the electronic musical instrument technology that Casio has developed over the past three decades, and offers pianists of all levels a superior 9-foot concert grand piano experience in a compact form. – Stephen Schmidt, Vice President of Casio’s Electronic Musical Instrument Division.

The launch will take place at Paul Bothner Music in Plumstead, on Tuesday 27 September. The doors will open at 19:30, and there will be finger foods and drinks on offer.

More about the GP-400 Grand Hybrid

Perfect combination of innovation and tradition

The GP-400 is the latest – and the most elegant – model in the CELVIANO Grand Hybrid lineup. The GP-400 has three historically popular grand piano sounds and the keyboard is made of the same high-quality Austrian spruce as the keyboards in C. Bechstein grand pianos. The new look and haptic feedback make you feel like you are playing an acoustic piano.
