If you feel like your percussion work could use some polish, this is the perfect workshop for you. Remember, while drummers can make excellent percussionists, they are different roles. So just because you’re a beast of a drummer, that doesn’t mean you can’t learn a few percussion techniques!

In addition, Dan will discuss the projects and session work he has been involved in. This will be an excellent workshop for anyone wanting to explore percussion further.

More about Dan

Dan Chiorboli, Percussionist & Producer born in Ferera-Italy in July 1955.

He has performed all over the world & played on over 200 albums. Grew up in Durban-KZN. Dan formed the 16-piece Los Cucarachos which became popular with Latin ballroom dancing.

Co-founder of the African Gypsies with Ray Phiri. Collaborated & performed with notable names like Sergio Dias Baptiste, Phil Manzanera, the Soul brothers Black Moses Ngwenya, DJ Black Coffee, Neill Solomon, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Madala Kunene, Syd Kitchen, Sanjeet Teeluck & much more.
