The Mackie DRM18S 18” powered subwoofer combines performance with advanced technology. Its 2,000W (peak) Class-D amplifier and custom driver are housed in a rugged wooden cabinet. The DRM18S active sub is great for both mobile and installed line array applications. It can be flown in an array with the DRM12A. Mackie designed the DRM18S to deliver sound typically found only in pro touring PA systems. In addition to a line array configuration, the DRM18S can be positioned on the ground with a DRM212, DRM215 or DRM315 mounted above with its built-in speaker pole socket. Even the DRM12A can be mounted atop the DRM18S using a speaker pole. However you choose to deploy it, the Mackie DRM18S powered subwoofer brings potent low-end reinforcement to your PA system.

Unmatched Control
Mackie’s DRM18S active powered speaker offers a level of control that is unmatched in its class. The DRM Control Dashboard gives access to more parameters than competing speakers. Select cardioid mode, invert polarity and adjust crossover point. Save and recall up to six user presets for different venues and gigs. Set alignment delay control for delay stacks.

Built to Last
The DRM18S is made with premium materials. Its robust cabinet features 18 mm plywood and internal bracing. This improves durability as well as acoustics. The DRM18S also has a tour-grade textured coating to protect it from scrapes and dings from life on the road. Its heavy-duty steel grille is powder-coated.
