Description

A set of hot-wound single-coil pickups serve up authentic 1950s-era bite and twang, while a Thick ‘50s U-shaped neck and 7.25-inch-radius fingerboard ensure easy vintage playability. The Fender Vintera Road Worn ‘50s Telecaster includes an attention-grabbing 1-ply black pickguard and a rock-solid vintage-style 3-barrel-saddle bridge and vintage-style tuning machines.

Relic’d alder body offers original-era feel and aesthetics

The Vintera Road Worn ‘50s Telecaster features a balanced-sounding alder body — a mainstay on Fender bodies with a distinctive tone that’s at the center of some of rock ‘n’ roll’s most enduring classics. A relic’d nitrocellulose lacquer finish gives this solidbody electric guitar the look and feel of a well-loved 1950s original. A 1-ply black pickguard and vintage-style 3-barrel-saddle bridge and tuning machines put the perfect finishing touches on this Tele, supplying you with original-era aesthetics, plus rock-solid performance and tuning stability.

Vintage-style single-coil pickups deliver hot-wound ‘50s Tele tone

If you appreciate classic Tele tone, you’ll love the Fender Vintera Road Worn ‘50s Telecaster. Its hot-wound single-coil pickups are dead ringers for 1950s-era pups, but —  they have enough output to spank the front end of a modern amplifier. These pickups boast formvar-coated wire and Alnico II and III magnets in the neck and bridge, respectively, achieving a punchy sound with loads of bite and twang.

Thick ‘50s U-shaped neck ensures easy playability

The Vintera Road Worn ‘50s Telecaster is a treat to play, largely because of its Thick ‘50s U-shaped neck profile. This is a pleasantly stout neck, and its increased mass yields an incredibly natural feel, as well as excellent sustain. Its 7.25-inch-radius fingerboard is complete with 21 vintage-tall frets that feel incredible to play. This neck secures to the guitar’s alder body with a traditional 4-bolt plate and includes a synthetic bone nut.
