This is the newly redesigned 2015 spec Electromatic Pro Jet G5439T. The G5439T features a silver sparkle finish and a Licensed Bigsby tremolo. The Electromatic Jet’s are excellent guitars that sound great and have that classic Gretsch style! The Electromatic Jet features the same construction recipe you’d find on its 1950’s ancestors. It has a chambered body with set neck and a 3 ply maple top yielding a snappy tone that’s great for a variety of music styles. The tone from the new “Black Top” FilterTron humbuckers is very clean with low noise and plenty of bite. The bridge pickup is nice and snappy and the neck pickup has a much smoother “scooped” midrange and warm bass response. If you’re looking to an alternate to the usual solidbody guitars you see on stages and in stores that has authentic vintage style then you must check out a Gretsch!

Electromatic® Pro Jet models take on a new voice and identity, with chambered double-cutaway basswood bodies and arched maple tops that resonate true to “That Great Gretsch Sound,” a two-tone body color scheme (Black or Gold tops with Walnut-stained back and sides), dual “Black Top” Filter’TronTM pickups and Bigsby® B50 tailpieces.
Other classic features include rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and “hump block” inlays, three-position pickup toggle switch, anchored Adjusto-MaticTMbridge, “G” arrow knobs, white pearloid Gretsch-logo pickguard and threaded/knurled strap buttons.
The Electromatic series guitars offer classic Gretsch sound and style at a very affordable price. The build quality, fit, and finish of these instruments is excellent and the sound is authentic Gretsch goodness.
