School of Rock students to perform at Zip Zap circus in April

School of Rock Claremont, South Africa’s leading performance-based music school is proud to announce its opening season show for the year which will take place on Saturday 9 April 2016 at Zip Zap Circus in Cape Town. The Reggae and Funk inspired show will see performances from their young Rock 101 kids, Performance and Adult Performance Programme students and plus our talented School of Rock Artist Music Instructors and promises to be a day of great entertainment!

If you love up-tempo songs like Jamiroquai’s “You Give Me Something” or something more laid-back like Bob Marley’s “Could You Be Loved”, then this show is definitely for you.

Leigh Spaun, Marketing Director and Co-owner of School of Rock Claremont says “we are very excited about this show, the entire team has worked hard to prepare learners for their big moment.  The fact that these students can transition from Pink Floyd to British rock to Reggae and Funk, shows the sheer talent within these four walls.  At School of Rock we are always looking to expose our students to new genres that develop new techniques and skill sets and we are excited to show the public what they have learnt since school went back in January.”

If you’re looking for a good day out with the family and some great music to jam out to then hurry along and get your tickets. Tickets can be purchased from School of Rock Claremont and are R120 each.  Seats cannot be reserved and will work on a first come first serve basis on the day.  Zip Zap Circus will provide food and drink stands at which you can purchase refreshments.
