Since it’s release early this year, Rode’s Wireless Go II has been one of their biggest successes to date.
The Wireless Go II includes a receiver, and two separate transmitters which can be used simultaneously to record to the receiver/recorder with their own individual channels. (When required, it is also fully functional in single channel mode.)
Over the last few months, the most common request from fans of the unit has been to include mobile functionality to allow the Wireless Go II to be controlled and setup by a smartphone… and Rode listened.
RØDE Central Mobile
They have achieved this by making their revered Rode Central app available to iOS and Android users. This will allow for complete on-the-go configuration and setup of the Wireless Go II.
This is the first time ever that a compact wireless microphone has been made fully configurable with a mobile app, making this step an absolute game changer for mobile recording.
It is important to note that you must download the latest version of the RØDE Central desktop app and update your Wireless GO II’s firmware to use RØDE Central Mobile.
