The Quay 4 Battle of the Bands has finished it’s 4 month long run and The Vanilla have come out tops! The final battle on the 25th of August was between Gracetown (pictured below) and The Vanilla (pictured left).
Every Tuesday between the 5th of May until the 25th of August, bands were playing their hearts out at the Quay 4 Battle of the Bands.
They were competing for:
1) A three month playing contract at Quay 4 and a R20 000 cash prize compliments of Castle Lager.
2) 2 x 15 inch JBL monitors compliments of Wild & Marr
3) R1250.00 Paul Bothner voucher to best vocalist, best guitarist, best drummer, best bass guitarist and best keyboard player of the competition
Not to mention bragging rights for an entire year!
