If you’re off the Monday after Easter and looking for a great way to spend the day, then the 2017 Parklife Music Festival is exactly what you need.

Returning for its 3rd annual installment, this year’s line-up is better than ever before. What sets this year apart? First of all, this year there will be two stages with music playing all day long. In addition, there will be some international artists playing this year.

Playing on the Day

The festival will be headlined by the Australian band The Temper Trap. They will be joined by American Songwriter and guitar virtuoso Kaki King.

Also on the day will be a host of South African musos ranging from Jeremy Loops and Matthew Mole to Guy Buttery and Francois Van Coke and many more. For the full line-up, be sure to follow the event on Facebook.

What to Bring

Festival-goers are encouraged to bring along your camping chairs and picnic blankets. Remember that the African sun can be harsh, so it is always a good idea to bring a hat and some sunblock.

If you would like to bring an umbrella along, there is a dedicated space for umbrellas.

You should also bring along some cash. There will be a large variety if gourmet street vendors at the event. There will be options for all tastes, so come hungry and spoil yourself!

Bring the Family

This is a family friendly event, so bring your kids and grandparents along for the day. Early bird tickets are currently on sale for R295 for adults and R125 for kids.
