The NAMM music show is the biggest event of the year for musicians who love gear. Throughout the show, all of the biggest instrument manufacturers announce their newest gear. Let’s take a look at what Mackie announced at the NAMM 2020 show.

Mackie EM-89D Dynamic Vocal Microphone

Need something for stage use but would like it to have the features for studio use as well? Then the Mackie EM-89D Dynamic Microphone is the perfect option. The EM-89D microphone was designed for live performances but still has great use for any studio engineer. It can help avoid external noise when capturing sound with the cardioid polar pattern feature.

The wireless mic is great for vocalists but can also be a great option when micing up amps and other instruments.

Mackie EM-91C Large-Diaphragm Condenser Microphone

Another great new product in the Mackie range includes the EM-91C Large-Diaphragm Condenser Microphone. The mic also includes the cardioid polar pattern feature making it the perfect choice for multiple recording and studio applications.

Mackie EM-USB USB Condenser Microphone

Last but not least in the new microphone range is the Mackie EM-USB USB Condenser Microphone. The mic features all the functionality of Mackie’s other microphones yet with the added option for USB recording.

Similar to the brand’s other microphones, the EM-USB is perfect for podcast recording, live streaming, and content making without the need for an audio interface.

 The mic plugs into any laptop or computer using its USB-C connection including a built-in headphone output, which has a separate volume control. With its mute controls, studio engineers have maximum flexibility when working on a new project in the studio.

Moving on to Mackie’s other new products — the Mackie MC-350 and MC-450 Professionally Closed-Back Headphones.

Mackie MC-350 Professional Closed-Back Headphones

The new Mackie MC-350 Professional Closed-Back Headphones features a precision-tuned design allowing a deep and rich sound stage experience. With its comfortable materials, the headphones helps reduce ear fatigue allowing for longer recording time in the studio.

The headphones are rated with a sensitivity of 97 dB and an impedance of 32 ohms.

Mackie MC-450 Professional Closed-Back Headphones

For further depth in monitoring, the Mackie MC-450 Professional Open-Back Headphones feature an open-back structure. For those in need of a transparent montiroing experience, the MC-450 headphone is the better option. 

The headphones are rated with a sensitivity of 101 dB, an impedance of 54 ohms, and 42 mm transducers.

Mackie MP-BTA Bluetooth Adaptor

As you know, Bluetooth is a much needed accessory in your studio setup. The latest MP-BTA Bluetooth Adaptor from Mackie, features a detachable MMCX connector to help smooth out the Bluetooth Connection process.
