More About the M&M Music Academy

Do you have a desire to play the drums or improve your guitar skills or another band instrument? If so, then M&M Music Academy is the perfect part-time music school for you.

About M&M Music Academy

Operating since 2004, the M&M Music Academy provides training in drum, guitar, bass, piano/keyboard, vocal, and sound engineering from beginner to advanced students of all ages. They also offer examinations in Rock School and Trinity which are international and university recognised certificates.

The academy offers a full digital recording studio operating on Cubase, Presonus, Rode and Alesis equipment, should you wish to lay some music tracks or follow your personal development at M&M.

Their fully equipped studio is used for the development of their students to track their progress. In addition, they are used for bands, backtracks, jingles, voice overs, beats or any other kind of recording required.

The music academy helps students record and edit promo- or music videos to be placed on YouTube.

Students and Classes

They have students that attend the academy from areas like Parklands, Table View, West Beach, Melkbos, and Milnerton.

All classes are individually taught, once a week for 30 minutes. For advanced students, lessons twice a week or hour classes are possible. All classes are taught by professional and experienced teachers.

“At M&M we believe that not only should our students excel in music but should be given the opportunity to grow their performance confidence. We do this through our annual concerts, and band week. We find that this helps the students develop an understanding for music outside of the normal classroom scenario.”
