About Facing the Gallows

For Facing the Gallows nothing seems to be better than locking themselves in a room and writing music to share with South Africans and people from other parts of the world.

The well-known metal band was formed in 2007 with five friends who realised they played the right instruments to be able to create this popular band. After a few jam sessions together, Facing the Gallows was born.

After two months of writing and rehearsals, Facing the Gallows performed for Cape Town as a replacement act for Forever Will Burn. Since then they have travelled far, playing for major South African music festivals, cities, towns, townships.

Facing the Gallows’ hard-hitting songs will guarantee you dancing the whole night long.
