Mackie are at the top of their game when it comes to bringing high quality, yet affordable audio gear to market. From their microphones to their studio monitors, they know exactly how to bring value where it counts, and where to save the consumer a buck or two.
This tradition holds perfectly true with the third iteration of their ProFX series of live mixing consoles. The ProFX v3 series offers class-standard features and is available in a great lineup of configurations; 6, 10, 12, 16, 22, and 30 channels.
Let’s take a look at what makes them tick.
Onyx Mic Preamps
Mackie’s Onyx mic preamps are renown for their studio-grade quality thanks to their ultra low-noise performance and up to 60dB of gain.
GigFX Effects Engine
The ProFX v3 range includes 24 updated and upgraded effects that can be added to each channel.
2x4 192kHz USB Recording
Paired with the Onyx preamps is the abaility to record at sample rates of up to 192kHz, ensuring pristine sounds. And the 2X4 I/O allows for an array of configurations and use cases.
The addition of a single-knob compressor on each channel strip makes keeping unruly signals or instruments in-check easy. (Not included on ProFX6V3.)
