Jazz between Friends began in 2011, started by a group of friends at the University of Cape Town, all of whom were jazz students at the time. Since then, they have had the privilege of performing together at many venues and functions in the greater Cape Town area, and their laid-back jazz numbers have been well-received by all their audiences, young and old alike.
The group’s greatest strength lies in the flexibility of its musicians, in terms of instrument choice and repertoire. This allows Jazz between Friends to piece together many different combinations of musicians who are able to deliver a versatile and tailor-made performance across a wide range of genres and musical styles.

Jazz Between Friends will be performing at the Aphrodisiac Shack on the banks of the Theewaterskloof Dam from 12h00 to 16h00 on Sunday the 27th of September, and will feature singer Amy Campbell, guitarist Morné Kahts and saxophonist Andrew Hoole.
