About Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal

Bumblefoot (Ron Thal) is best known as one of the guitarists to take a stint at replacing Slash in Guns N’ Roses. While not famous in the traditional sense,  he’d been a known name in shredder circles since the mid-’90s.

He joined Guns n Roses in 2006 and stayed until 2014. During that time he was involved with the release of the long-awaited Chinese Democracy and played in several international tours.

While playing for GNR, Ron kept his solo career going and released several solo projects.
