Cape Town is renowned for its nightlife; just about every weekend there is a host of activities you can do once the sun goes down. In the past decade or so “Day Life” has grown in popularity. So, if you’re looking for something exciting and outdoors to do this weekend, then Farmhouse Rocks is your solution.

Join South African favorites Freshlyground and Paige Mac for a day of great music and memories at the Cape Farmhouse.

The Event
On the 24th of March 2018, Freshlyground and Paige Mac will be playing at the Cape Farmhouse on Redhill Road. Doors will open at 13:30, and the bands will start playing at 15:00. The event is open to the whole family; even your dogs!

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to bring outside food or drinks into the venue. There will, however, be a variety of food and drinks on sale at the mini-festival.

Remember, the Cape Town sun can be harsh this time of year, so it’s essential that you remember to bring your hats and sunblock. There will be a few shady spots in which to hide, but it never hurts to be prepared for the sun.

The Bands
At this point, Freshlyground does not need an introduction. But, in case you’ve been living under a rock and don’t know who they are, their sound is Afro-fusion that formed in Cape Town in 2002. The band cosmopolitan with the members coming from South Africa, Mozambique, and Zimbabwe.

Paige Mac is the leading lady behind this sensational South African band which combines a cappella music with soft-rock to create soulful sounds. You can listen to their sweet tunes as they open the day for Freshlyground, with beautiful leading vocals and spot-on guitar licks.
