Mornay Hoffmeester, professional session drummer and teacher, will share his knowledge and experience of the subtleties of Gospel drumming as he covers topics like clean drumming, understanding what to do and when, rudiment concepts, fill concepts, and session styles.
Mornay, a graduate of the Campus of Performing Arts and the London School of Music, lectures at the Cape Music Institute and is owner of Cape Drummers Lab. He has performed with the likes of Chevelle Franklin, Judith Sephuma, David Kramer, Jonathan Butler, and many more local and international greats.
