From the Deville to the Deluxe reverb; Fender are, of course, the builders of some of the worlds most recognizable and legendary electric guitar amplifiers.

For a number of years now, the Mustang range has had great success as their primary digital amplifier offering.

Enter the Mustang GTX – Totally reworked and re-thought, these amplifiers represent a more mature, and frankly, better and bolder guitar amplifier. With sounds and features that comfortably rival the best of the best in this space, the Mustang GTX amplifiers offer serious bang for the buck, and a tasteful vintage look to boot. What’s not to like?

The Features

Presets

Including 200 basic and genre-specific presets, the GTX gives player access to a wide variety of genres, from country to rock, R&B to metal, pop to jazz. All at the turn of a knob.

User Interface

A high-quality, LCD color display makes it easy to see amp and effect settings at a glance. Add to that the large encoder dial and three soft-touch keys and you have a powerful, intuitive interface that makes finding your sound easy.

Going Wireless

The GTX introduces onboard WiFi capabilities to make it easy to add new content to your amp. You can also download presets directly from the Fender cloud with the amp itself, or you can use the Fender Tone app on your mobile device. 

The Speakers

Designed in collaboration with Celestion, the 12″ speaker you’ll find in the GTX100 is purpose built as the amps perfect counterpart to deliver superior tone.

The Fender Tone App

Explore, modify, backup and restore your presets all from your mobile device, all via WiFi. Embracing technology has never looked this good.

The I/O

The GTX series  includes stereo XLR outs, as well as stereo 1/4″ send and returns.

The Footswitch

The ultimate counterpart to the Mustang GTX range, the GTX-7 7-button footswitch features individual bank up and down functions and easy effects selection. It also unlocks Mustang GTX’s powerful onboard looping capabilities. With up to 60 seconds of record time, the looper is the perfect creative and practice partner.

The Range

The Mustang GTX range is split simply into two amplifiers, the GTX50, and the GTX100.

The GTX100 is a 100-Watt amplifier with a Celsetion Special Design 12″ speaker. The GTX-7 Footswitch is also included with the the GTX 100.

The GTX 50 on the other hand is a 50-Watt amplifier with a standard 12″ Celestion speaker. The footswitch is not included with the GTX50, but is available as an optional extra.
