Cort Gold Series: Professional Acoustic Guitars

Cort Gold Series

If you’re the kind of player who won’t settle for second best when it comes to the tone of your guitar, then you should test one of the new Cort Gold series guitars.

As an acoustic guitarist, the tone of your guitar is of paramount importance. Unlike your electric guitar counterparts, changing the pickups in your acoustic guitar won’t make a significant difference. That is why it is so important to find a guitar that can deliver on tone.

According to the team from Cort, the Cort Gold Series is the best sounding range the company has ever built. From the first time you strum one of these guitars, you will understand how they can make such a bold claim.

New Artificial Aging Techniques

One of the details that make the Cort Gold series sound so good is the aged vintage top. Most acoustic guitars sound better as they age. As guitars age, the wood cures more, which opens up the tone. That is why older guitars often sound much better than their modern day counterparts.

Using a new process that Cort calls ATV (Aged to Vintage), the company is able to artificially age the tops they are using for the Gold series. So from the first time you take the guitar out the box, it will sound a few decades old.

But the tonal enhancements don’t stop there. For the Cort Gold Series, the company developed a new finish. The Sonic Enhancing UV Finish is a much thinner finish, which will increase the instrument’s resonance.

Comfort

If you’re going to spend hours playing your guitar, you need to factor in comfort.

The Cort Gold Series comes in three models to ensure that you will find the perfect fit for your body and your playing style. In addition, Cort has developed a new neck profile to increase the ease and comfort of playing one of the Gold Series.
