Charvel Joe DePlantier Signature Guitar

Charvel Joe DePlantier Signature Guitar

Do you love the styling of a Fender Telecaster, but really wish it would be more metal sounding? The kind of guitar that will stand out both tonally and visually? Have you seen the Charvel Joe DePlantier Signature Guitar?

This guitar is the hybrid of when classic telecaster styling meets modern metal tonality. And this isn’t some cheap tele knock-off either. It has an officially licensed Fender® Telecaster® headstock. Fender does, after all, own Charvel guitars.

Joe DePlantier Signature Guitar

The Joe DePlantier Signature Guitar features a nato wood body. Nato has a similar look to mahogany and is often referred to as Eastern Mahogany. Because of the similarities in tone and hardness, it’s very tough to tell Nato apart from mahogany.

The neck meets the body and has a specially contoured heel for extreme comfort while playing. If you’ve ever played a traditional bolt-on neck then you know that it isn’t easy to reach the highest frets. You will have no such difficulty with the Joe DePlantier Signature Guitar.

Other premium features include a 12”-16” compound radius ebony fretboard. The fretboard has 22 jumbo frets, which makes the guitar faster to play. If you’ve never played jumbo frets before, it can feel a bit odd at first. But once you get used to them, you’ll never want anything else on a guitar.

Additionally, there is three-way toggle pickup switching and single knurled control knob (volume) in special placement slightly back from your playing position. It also has a Charvel compound radius compensated bridge with anchored tailpiece, Charvel locking tuners and black hardware.
