Many people spend the day relaxing, or visiting people they couldn’t get to on Christmas day, but if that sounds a too mundane for you, you should join the Boxing Day Celebrations at the Mercury Live in Cape Town.
After taking a break for a few years, the Mercury Live in Cape Town is once again hosting their annual boxing day party. The people spoke, and the Mercury listened! You once again have a place to grab a cold one and listen to some rock and alternative music on boxing day.

Many of you might be thinking that since this time of year is expensive enough, there’s no way you can justify spending more money. Of course, to help ease the burden on your wallet, the Mercury will not be charging a cover fee for the party. Think of it as your Christmas present from them.
What to Expect
The music theme for the evening is “Golden Oldies”. So you can expect all of the classic rock that you’ve come to love. Take your dancing shoes along, and get ready for an old-school party like no other.
