Over the past few years, electronic drum kits and hybrid drumming have become commonplace in many bands, live performance venues, and studios.

This workshop will present an opportunity to fully understand the benefits of electronic drums; from doing basic home recordings to performance level, there are different kits on the market to suit your needs. The workshop will also cover creative ways to minimize the size/bulk of acoustic kit.

Bio:

Nico started off as a Rhythm guitarist and vocalist, but always had a passion for drums and bass. He played bass for 22 years before moving over to drums (5 years ago). he has played live and recorded with many different bands over the last 20 years and is currently working on his 4th album. Nico also plays drums for Riaan Nieuwenhuis and performs covers with his Band “WestEnd.”
