Almost half your church service is spent on praise and worship. It is important then that you worship team has strong leadership.

During this FREE workshop, Winston Siljeur will be discussing the importance of your worship band and the band’s musicians. He will be presenting this workshop at two of our stores.

What to Expect:

Winston will focus on the role and responsibilities that music and musicians play in the House of Worship and Praise & Worship environment.

From correct chord progression to a energy and synergy on stage. Winston will touch on:

The importance of rehearsals
How to build strong teams
Effective Music Leadership
Engaging the audience
How to clearly communicate with sound engineer and other stakeholders and the importance of effective sound checks

More about Winston

Winston, a lecturer in music theory and piano at the Cape Music Institute, performs as part of the His People North Creative Arts Department and His People Worship Band, Cappuccino, as in his own band, the Winston Siljeur Project. They have recently become involved and partnered up as the resident band of Radio Kaapse Punt.
