We may be well into summer but that doesn’t mean one stops craving those chilled outdoor activities – here’s to wishing summer never comes to an end! If that’s your vibe then best you get ready for relaxing on a picnic blanket… one can’t have too many get-togethers with your loved ones or experience too many beautiful sunsets, right? And you definitely can’t attend too many great open-air concerts.
This time, the main act is none other than famous South African singer-songwriter Francois van Coke. Indie rockers Shortstraw from Johannesburg will be performing alongside Van Coke so this is definitely one concert you don’t want to miss. Other artists performing on the day will be announced later in the month.
All picnic concerts take place at Jan Marais Nature Reserve in Stellenbosch; a large reserve full of beautiful indigenous plants and flowers, as well as 200-year-old trees. Spread all your picnic goodies in the cool shade, sit back, relax and enjoy great South African music.
