Sean Ou Tim, a.k.a Mr Sakitumi, is a powerful presence in the South African music legacy. His talents as bassist, drummer, keyboardist, guitarist, and more have been utilized locally and internationally by artists such as Lark, Godessa, Max Normal, and Closet Snare, amongst others.
This is someone who can literally play with the finesse and intellectual approach of guitarists like Stanley Jordan, the two-handed tapping genius, or with the sheer sense of power and style that drummers like Manu Katche and Will Calhoun bring to artists like Sting, Joe Satriani, Tears For Fears, and Living Colour. His tastes in music listening and performance have produced the outcomes which artists like Max Normal, Lark, and Godessa have had in terms of international events and cutting edge mainstream music, besides their forays into the lesser known realms.
