Learning to play an instrument can be an exciting journey, but isn’t always the easiest journey to get started. Finding an instrument that suits you is the easy part, it’s finding a teacher that becomes tricky, especially if you’re an adult. Fortunately, the Global House of Music in Johannesburg makes finding a teacher in your area easy.
Global House of Music
The Global House of Music operates in and around Joburg and has over 1500 students a month. They offer lessons in a variety of instruments ranging from orchestral instruments like flute and clarinet to vocal and guitar lessons. They have situated themselves as a one-stop music solution.
The school was founded in 2014 by Eugene Dippenaar. At first, the school offered lessons in contemporary piano, guitar, and vocals. What set the school apart was that it operated in various locations areas around Johannesburg. This gave the school the ability to serve more students. The Global House of Music has seen rapid growth over the past few years. They have gone from 90 lessons a month to peaking at over 1700 lessons a month in only four years.
The long-term vision for the school is to expand into every suburb of Gauteng. Once the school achieves their Gauteng goal, they will move all over South Africa.
If you would like to book lessons or find out more, you can contact the school.
