More about the band
andtheRiddle are intent on creating something honest and sustainable in a dishonest and unsustainable world. They live, write, rehearse, record, design, edit and produce everything in-house. This refiects the great pride and effort invested by the two into their music and career.
Originally from KwaZulu-Natal, andtheRiddle relocated to Cape Town in 2013 in order to pursue music full-time. They found their full, upbeat acoustic sound well-suited to many different environments, settings and purposes, from exhibitions at intimate wine land galleries. to corporate events for clients such as Unilever and SteinBuild.
Recognizing music as a performance art, andtheRiddle places emphasis on their live show, seeing the stage as a natural environment for the honest, real, tangible music they create.
While andtheRiddle EP’s and merchandise are on sale at all events, high quality mp3’s of their recorded material is always available online for free download.
“… bought a copy of their EP on the night which has their original music loaded. I haven’t taken this out of my CD player since…”
