The drudgery of practice can get old. No matter how old you are or how long you’ve been playing for, once in a while boredom can strike.
When boredom strikes, it’s important to re-evaluate how and what we practice in order to make the most out of our session. One of the best methods to entice yourself into practicing is to find new and interesting backing tracks. But where can I find new and interesting tracks, you ask?
Well, Fender has answered the call with the G-Dec Metal amp. This amp comes from the factory pre-loaded with great quality backing tracks from bands like Anthrax, Cannibal Corpse, and Bad Religion to name just a few.
In addition to this, Fender is constantly adding new downloadable patches and presets on their website for the G-Dec.
G-Dec Metal
The G-Dec metal is a brutal looking amp that will have any metalhead plugging in and shredding for hours on end. In addition to the genre specific backing tracks, the amp comes with some killer metal drum tracks.
Furthermore, the amp comes with 100 tone presets that will ensure your guitar sounds as huge at the backing tracks on it! There are some massive and aggressive guitar tones prebuilt into the amp!
To make editing your sound easier, the G-Dec can be hooked up to your PC* so that you can custom configure your amp. You can change, edit, delete and swap preset and loops to your heart’s desire. This is done with the Fender FUSE software.
