The Cort SJB5F features a solid spruce top, for a resonant tone that actually improves with age. With Fishman Electronics and a Sonicore pickup, this acoustic bass sounds much like a solidbody electric when plugged in and ranges from an upright bass tone, to 70′s funk and the modern fusion tonal range, at a mere change of right hand finger attack.
