The Jackson Randy Rhoads RR24

Product Description

The Jackson RR24 Randy Rhoads Pro is a 24-fret, neck-through-body designed, powerhouse. It features a single EMG 81 humbucking bridge pickup, ebony fingerboard, Floyd Rose tremolo, single volume knob and black hardware.

The single pickup improves sustain because there’s less string pull from having other pickups on the body as well. Because it’s a battery powered EMG 81 pickup, you get higher output, coupled with superior handling of super-overdriven sounds, with minimal feedback.

It’s also a great benefit for recording with it’s enhanced clarity and truer fidelity. Less tweaking and more tone to disk, means quicker dialling in of tones and a sound more overdriven, with less overdubs and tone-sapping effects necessary.

The ebony fretboard has a rich dark tone with better sustain. The Floyd Rose is the industry standard, for intense whammy work with pros, across the globe. The compound-radius fingerboard curves more at the nut. This means easier chording. The flattening out of the fretboard, as it approaches the neck joint, facilitates low-action bends without the string fretting out.
