Most players don’t require hundreds of hours in R&D to achieve their custom signature pickup design. But then again, most players aren’t Yngwie J. Malmsteen. When Yngwie set out on a quest to bring his tone to a higher level, he turned to Seymour Duncan. The result of this intense tone pursuit is the YJM Fury.

Application
Hum-canceling single-coil-sized pickup based on the original Seymour Duncan Stack® pickup design. Recommended for rock, neo-classical, shred, hard rock, power metal, and heavy metal.

Compatible Guitars
The YJM Fury will directly retrofit most single-coil equipped guitars. Though originally designed for a Fender® Strat with a scalloped maple fingerboard, the YJM Fury will work well with any bolt-on guitar that utilizes traditional single-coil-size Strat pickups. The YJM Fury is the same pickup that Fender now installs in their YJM Strat guitars.

Also, it captures a broad range of acoustic, harmonic vibrations, which translates to enhanced tone with smoother attack.

Battery Life

The Mag Mic uses a standard nine-volt battery for over 450 hours of continuous operation. Or, for total portability, you (or a qualified tech) can attach, the included “N” size battery (which offers 50 hours of battery life) clips, directly to the pickup, for a completely self-contained unit. The low noise, Class A, discrete circuitry delivers extremely quiet operation.

Temporary or Permanent Installation

The Mag Mic’s installation can be temporary or permanent depending on how the cable is used. For permanent installation, the female output jack can be converted to an end-pin type jack by removing the finishing sleeve. For temporary installation, the cable can simply be attached to the exterior of the guitar at end-pin using the strain relief loop provided. The 1/4″ female jack is then attached to any common guitar cable.

With this hotness, you get the single coil sound if you wire it in parallel or split it, with coil tapping. Otherwise it’s a fat humbucker, that fits into the single coil body cavity without any routing necessary. Proel DB1A

This single-channel, top-of-the-range active DI BOX has been designed to fit into the most demanding setups and applications with an outstanding performance.

DB1A includes an MU-METAL core transformer able to reduce phase and harmonic distortion to a minimum, with noticeable improvement of the linear phase even on very long cables. The audio integrity is guaranteed by low-noise, low-consumption IC for balancing the signal, able to handle very low-impedance loads. The input section features JACK and XLR connectors with link possibility and a PAD of up to 30 dB that permits very high-level signal inputs to be used.

Gator provides two channels of gating and compression, with hard and soft knee operative modes. Gator allows total and instinctive control of signal dynamics for any application. The RC-3 offers all the essential features of the RC-30 in smaller package, including stereo I/O, up to three hours of stereo recording and loop storage, 99 onboard memories, USB 2.0, and built-in rhythms. Users can connect an optional BOSS FS-5U Foot Switch for additional foot control if desired.
