On 2 Feb, David Bobby gave a workshop at our N1 Value Centre branch on the new syllabus and format of this series.This new set of ground breaking Rock & Pop Music Qualifications is SAQA ACCREDITED… The Rock & Pop closing dates and fees are the same as those for Trinity College and the exam sessions will be the same as the Trinity practical exam sessions. 
This year’s lineup of 20 artists includes the massively popular Fender endorsee, Dan Patlansky and legends such as Vusi Mahlasela, Piet Botha and The Blues Broers, featuring guitar god Albert Frost. Other artists include the divas Natasha Meister, Charlie King, In the Deep End and youngbloods Hellfire Blues Club, Sixgun Gospel and Crimson House Blues. Besides offering entry to the area’s major tourist attractions, general festival facilities include a 1050 square metre marquee, for shade, PLUS safe parking, a buddy-bus to get you safely home, a kiddies club, arts stalls and more!
