During this workshop, Sebastian will teach you some advanced drumming techniques that are sure to make you a better drummer. No matter what your skill level is, you will be able to learn a few things from this workshop. And since the workshop will cover polyrhythms and odd meters, you will learn something even if you’re not a drummer!

More about Sebastian

Sebastian “The Hitman” Guile started playing drums at the age of 6 and began doing formal training in High School. Due to his vast amount of band experience he progressed quickly and obtained a distinction for his Trinity college performers certificate examination (post grade 8 level) while still in matric. Following this success, he began his B.Mus Education studies at UCT the following year where he graduated with distinction for of his practical exam. As well as being being the rhythmic backbone of touring cover band, Axenmore, Sebastian has played in many musical theater shows at the IMAX pavillion, Roxy Revue Bar and Barnyard Theaters. Sebastian teaches at various schools around Cape Town, writes educational material and runs a Music Charity called Harmony Music Foundation.
